    Description

    Antique Victorian pivot lift arm sash window lock in cast iron - a spring loaded pivot lift arm lock.  Patent date on underside of keeper reads Pat. Jan 4 June 13 1876.  The arm is operated via pulling out the movable spring loaded round end with ornate  brass cap which releases the  arm from the keeper and allows it to swivel up and over to unlatch the lock.  Swivel down and back the the cap at the end locks into the catch on the keeper.  This lock is well made.  Lock base measures 2  3/8" wide x 1" deep.  Keeper is 2 3/8" x 1.  Restored and in good working condition.
