    Description

    Being offered are two large coffee or tea mugs with lids with a single large koi on one side and Chinese characters on the opposing side of each cup. The lids have two much smaller identical fish transfers. One of the two mugs still has its original tag, indicating that they are microwave-safe. They both look unused, and are in new condition. The contrast of the cobalt blue on white is quite pretty.
    Each mug is 4" tall without the lid and the opening is about 3 1/2" in diameter. Each comfortably holds 12 ozs. The rim, mug base, and lid are accented with thin blue bands. An embossed scalloped design adorns the lower portion of the mug and the lid. The lid finial is also lightly embossed.
    All pieces are free of scratches, chips, and cracks. One lid has a small dark dot on the underside (see pic 7).  The mug with its tag has some loss on the characters, but it's under the glaze and looks like that's the way it was made. It has two flea bites in the white area.  It still looks pretty good!
