Antique Transom Window Hardware Rod Squeeze Latch
Signs of natural aged patina/tarnish. I'm not sure what kind of metal this is but a magnet DOES attract to it. Colors are brass & black. I have not attempted to polish it.  There is a squeeze button piece on the rod which does move back and forth when you press down on that button (photo 7). There is also a small rod attached (9" long) which moves back and forth but it does not slide on the larger rod. (see photos 2,3,4). The small piece you see in photo 6 also slides back and forth on the long rod.
Measures 36" long. Weighs 1 pound (prior to packaging)
