    Description

Only 215 sets of these Clevenger handmade, mouthblown bottles were designed and made in 1975 for commemoration of our country's Bicentennial in the following year. The set consists of two scroll flasks, two watchfob flasks, and two decanters. In all, they come in three colors--amber [Halifax Resolves and Edenton Tea Party], light cobalt blue [Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence and State of North Carolina title bottle], and amethyst [Battle of Moore's Creek and New Bern First Provincial Congress]. Each bottle has an attached sticker applied by Clevenger and stating it is "Genuine Hand Made South Jersey Glass." The set of six bottles comes with a colorful brochure put out by the State of North Carolina for the Bicentennial, emphasizing North Carolina's "Firsts" in its contribution to the Revolutionary War effort.
