Westerly RI Postcard Rhode Island Hotel Retail Stores Hat Shoppe Flower Shop

Description

Unposted divided back postcard entitled "Rhode Island Hotel, Westerly, R. I.". Nice view of the hotel in Dixon Square. Some of the shops on the main floor are "Alice Douglas's Hat Shoppe" on the far left, then" C. M. Dodge & Co." next door, and then "Smith's Flower Shop". I can't make out the shop names on the right hand side of the hotel, although one sign seems to indicate the name, Segar. A "Price Insurance" sign is stretched across the balcony on the far left. The hotel burned down on April 16, 1928.
